The scripture verse that touched me in particular today is – Philippians 2:4
Lord, I want to be willing to let go of what I want for myself. This would not only benefit my marriage, but it would greatly deepen my relationship with You! And I always want to do that. Please help me to do this by clearing out my will and filling me with Yours.
Love lets the other win…
My husband and I are both good at this. This morning, he drove our youngest daughter to school when she missed her bus. Tonight, we’re grabbing a quick dinner and taking the kids out to a haunted house (if I can stay up).
We rarely fight – I can count two in our 22 years. This is a wonderful thing! Sure, we argue and disagree, but we never attack each other with the intent to draw blood and defeat the other. We recognize that marriage makes us a team and we only win if we BOTH win!
