Bible Study: Battling For Perseverance In The Faith - Jude - verses 8-17

Please forgive this rough draft format, as these are my raw study notes on the book of Jude. I felt a great sense of urgency to publish them rather than waiting until I had the time to pretty them up. Thank you and I pray that God blesses and encourages you through this material. I’m not sure of the condition of the world at the time of this publication. But at the time of its writing, early 2009, things are looking pretty bleak with the economy and unemployment among other things. Natural disasters are happening – volcanic eruptions in Alaska and rising flood waters in North Dakota. Are these the first stages of birth pains? The last? God only knows. Stay strong. Encourage each other. Pray. Jesus is coming… Stacey Take a few minutes to pray and savor the book of Jude again. Then return here and ponder the thoughts, answer the questions, and be sure to leave comments about your own revelations… 8 – In the same way, these “dreamers” (as people at that time referred to godless men)

REVIEW: Setting Boundaries with Difficult People by Allison Bottke

Here is my review of this amazing self-help book: First of all, I would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank you” to Allison Bottke and her publisher for sending me a copy of "Setting Boundaries with Difficult People" to review for them. I am truly grateful for this generosity. I really appreciate the time, effort and expense it takes to make a reviewer copy available to me. “Setting Boundaries with Difficult People: Six Steps to SANITY for Challenging Relationships” by Allison Bottke is a MUST HAVE guide for any human being who is not a hermit! There are so many things I ADORE about this book. First and foremost, it doesn’t encourage the reader to point fingers. Rather, you are persuaded to look in the mirror to resolve conflict. Hallelujah! The remaining five steps to SANITY are equally as challenging, yet completely do-able, and they will change your life – GUARANTEED! Another thing that I love about this book is that it leads the reader to yield to God. The world woul

REVIEW: Saving Savvy by Kelly Hancock

First of all, I would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank you” to Kelly Hancock and his/her publisher for sending me an electronic copy of "Saving Savvy" to review for them. I am truly grateful for this opportunity and their generosity. Kelly Hancock’s “Saving Savvy” is a fascinating book that will get your creative saving and spending juices flowing. The concept of saving money AND living generously may seem like an oxymoron, but Kelly has done it, herself, and is called by God to teach others to do the same. After leaving her high paying job to be a “stay-at-home-Mom”, Kelly developed several money-saving techniques that helped others to save and really aided her own family when her husband’s company downsized and he found himself out of a job. The advice that Kelly Hancock offers to spend less really does work. However, living in this way is by no means effortless. But I am confident that the reader will get out of it what they put into it. Plus Kelly has done much of the
