August CSFF Tour: Off World by Robin Parrish

Here is my review of this entertaining read:

First of all, I would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank you” to Robin Parrish and her publisher for sending me a copy of "Off World" to review for them. I have always been grateful for this generosity, but haven’t been very consistent in taking the time to thank them in a public forum. I really appreciate your time, effort and expense in making a reviewer copy available to me.

I haven’t finished Robin Parrish’s “Offworld”, but this is an amazingly creative book. The author brilliantly builds a setting that the reader can feel. This is a wonderfully suspenseful tale that pulled me out of my favorite chair and right into the action!

How would you feel if you were part of a team of intergalactic explorers who have just completed their latest mission on Mars and can’t wait to get home? When the team finally arrives back home, everyone on the planet is gone! What would you do? Where would you go? How would you go about learning what happened? Why can’t you wake up from this horrible dream?

Homiletics Training: Content

Homiletics .   By definition, “homiletic” is the art of preaching or writing sermons.   I think we would all agree that our pastors study the Bible thoroughly to deliver sermons every Sunday to their congregations.   The beautiful news is that every child of God can use this discipline to study the Bible for themselves.
