40 Days of Grace by Rich Miller



Here's my review of this lovely devotional read:


First of all, I would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank you” to Rich Miller and his publisher for sending me a copy of "40 Days of Grace" to review for them. I am truly grateful for this generosity. I really appreciate the time, effort and expense it takes to make a reviewer copy available to me.

40 Days of Grace by Rich Miller is a collection of 40 daily readings on various topics with regard to grace (Amazing Grace, ending Guilt Trips, going from Disgrace to Grace, trading fear for faith, Humility and more).  Each chapter contains an engaging devotional reading, a thought to chew on throughout the day, a Biblical truth to remember, a question to ponder and a prayer to get you talking to God about the day’s topic.

Not only does this lovely devotional book initiate contact with our Creator, it also draws the reader into Scripture and exposes them to truth.  The reader washes their mind in the Word as they thoughtfully ponder the thoughts and questions which lead to lasting life change.

Homiletics .   By definition, “homiletic” is the art of preaching or writing sermons.   I think we would all agree that our pastors study the Bible thoroughly to deliver sermons every Sunday to their congregations.   The beautiful news is that every child of God can use this discipline to study the Bible for themselves.
