Bible Study: Coming Out Of Bondage - Exodus - Chapter 14


Please forgive this rough draft format, as these are my raw study notes on the book of Exodus. I felt a great sense of urgency to publish them rather than waiting until I had the time to pretty them up. Thank you and I pray that God blesses you through this material.

14:14 – Be still so God can fight for you!

14:15-22 – See Psalm 77:16-20.

14:19-20 – It’s God’s job to protect us from our enemies!

14:19 – The angel of the Lord is a preincarnate appearance of Christ. The pillar of cloud is a separate entity. It’s a manifestation of God’s glory. The cloud would cover Israel and keep them cool in the desert heat.

14:24 – the pillar of fire would keep Israel warm at night.

14:25 – this is a powerful statement. The Egyptians recognized God was fighting for Israel.
