1	1-6	An Angel shows John a vision of the Great Prostitute and the Beast.
Principle:		God’s warnings are for our benefit.
2	7-18	The Angel explains the mystery of the Woman and the Beast she rides.
Principle:		God wants us to understand what is written in His Word.

Subject Sentence (10-word sentence with proper structure):

John’s vision of a woman riding a beast is explained.

Aim:

TCMATK that God is sovereign over all events and the timing in which they occur.

Application:

1	What can you do today to protect future generations from the adulteries of the great prostitute? In what should you find your beauty and how will you change your daily routine to enhance that beauty?
2	How might you help someone who is frustrated because they don’t understand Scripture to keep them from giving up on studying the Word of God? How will the angel’s explanation of the woman and the beast change the way you live for Christ today?

Homiletics Training: Content

Homiletics . By definition, “homiletic” is the art of preaching or writing sermons. I think we would all agree that our pastors study the Bible thoroughly to deliver sermons every Sunday to their congregations. The beautiful news is that every child of God can use this discipline to study the Bible for themselves. As a member of Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) Leadership, part of my required preparation each week is to prepare homiletics for the passage we are studying. BSF offers an engaging seminar on how to use this method to study the Scriptures. I’ve taken the seminar several times under two different leaders and I’ve learned something new every time I’ve attended. I’ve also been doing the process of homiletics for over ten years and I can say that there is no better teacher than the Holy Spirit in this process! So keep practicing. Keep sharing and discussing. Armor of God – Week One – Sizing Up The Enemy

Welcome to Boot Camp! For the next seven weeks we will be training with our weapons (God’s Word and prayer) in preparation for the battle of our lives and the lives of others! And we will be learning how to equip ourselves with the Armor of God. Priscilla Shirer’s Armor of God Bible study is a MUST-DO for EVERY BIBLE STUDENT! I don’t mean to shout, but I can’t emphasize this enough!!! We are at war boys and girls. And our enemy wants to keep us in the dark about that fact. If he can convince us that he does not exist or that our God is not good or that we are not loved and treasured by the King and Creator of the Universe, he wins the battle.
