When Wallflowers Dance by Angela Thomas – Week 7

Welcome to Week Seven of Angela Thomas’ “When Wallflowers Dance: Becoming a Woman of Righteous Confidence”.

In this week’s video, “Eyes to see”, Angela challenges the audience to see the God Who loves us. He is powerful. He is protector. He wants to dance with us. Angela illustrated this point by bringing her daughter onstage and holding her close and moving her around the floor. God loves us. Are you dancing with Him?

This final week has no homework for us to do in the workbook, but that doesn’t mean that the homework is done. I pray that you’ve allowed the Lord to change a few things about you in our short time together and that you’ll allow Him to continue the good work He’s begun in you.

Homiletics . By definition, “homiletic” is the art of preaching or writing sermons. I think we would all agree that our pastors study the Bible thoroughly to deliver sermons every Sunday to their congregations. The beautiful news is that every child of God can use this discipline to study the Bible for themselves. As a member of Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) Leadership, part of my required preparation each week is to prepare homiletics for the passage we are studying. BSF offers an engaging seminar on how to use this method to study the Scriptures. I’ve taken the seminar several times under two different leaders and I’ve learned something new every time I’ve attended.
