Bible Study: Coming Out of Bondage - Exodus - Chapter 36


Please forgive this rough draft format, as these are my raw study notes on the book of Exodus. I felt a great sense of urgency to publish them rather than waiting until I had the time to pretty them up. Thank you and I pray that God blesses you through this material.

36:5-7 – The people provided more than enough to build everything for the tabernacle. In fact, contributions had to be turned away.

Why do you think people were so generous? What do you think has happened to that spirit of generosity? How can you change that? I have often felt that my contributions have been turned away, and sadly, I developed bitter feelings toward people and ministries because of it and that led me to miss many blessings, I’m certain. If you’ve ever felt like this, speak to your pastor. He may be able to help you find a place to serve.


What attributes of God have you observed in your study today? How will this change your relationship with Him?

Homiletics .   By definition, “homiletic” is the art of preaching or writing sermons.   I think we would all agree that our pastors study the Bible thoroughly to deliver sermons every Sunday to their congregations.   The beautiful news is that every child of God can use this discipline to study the Bible for themselves.
