Holy Guacamole by Dan and Denise Harmer

A Perfect Cinco de Mayo read!!!

Here is my review of this enjoyable novel:

First of all, I would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank you” to Dan and Denise Harmer and their publisher for sending me a copy of "Holy Guacamole" to review for them. I am truly grateful for this generosity. I really appreciate the time, effort and expense it takes to make a reviewer copy available to me.

“Holy Guacamole” by Dan and Denise Harmer truly is a food lover’s adventure. When washed-up sports writer, Trace Domingo enlists in TV chef, Bonnie Miller’s culinary boot camp in beautiful, sunny San Diego, it seems that this pair will blend about as well as oil and water. But this charming romance incorporates several of my favorite ingredients, including delicious food and old movie magic. The only thing missing is the recipes for the yummy dishes.

Short chapters, ghost stories and tales of the legendary Zorro pepper this enjoyable story filled with exotic locations, amiable characters and smooth dialogue. This is one of those novels you want to take to the beach for a long weekend of gazing at beautiful scenery and sipping something cool and fruity. This novel is an absolute delight.
