Please forgive this rough draft format, as these are my raw study notes on the book of Exodus. I felt a great sense of urgency to publish them rather than waiting until I had the time to pretty them up. Thank you and I pray that God blesses you through this material.

Take a few minutes to savor Exodus Chapter 30. Then return here and ponder the thoughts, answer the questions, and be sure to leave comments about your own revelations…
30:1-10 – God’s instructions for building the altar of incense and its position in the Tabernacle. It symbolizes intercession. Christ is our intercessor. See Romans 8:34; Hebrews 7:25; Revelation 5:8; 8:3-4.
30:1 – altar of incense is made of wood, symbolizing humanity. For burning incense, symbolizing prayer.
30:2 – has horns for once a year atonement offering. See v. 10.
30:3 – gold overlay, symbolizing deity.
30:36 – Incense is salted? What does that mean? Just what it says - mixed with salt.
What attributes of God have you observed in your study today? How will this change your relationship with Him?
