Bible Study: As It Was In The Beginning - Genesis - Chapter 47

47:9 – Compared to Abraham’s 175 years and Isaac’s 180 years, Jacob’s 130 years had been few.

47:10 – As Christians, we must seek out opportunities to make a difference in others’ lives.

47:11-12 – How do you need Christ’s help this week to provide for those in your care?

47:14 – see 1 Corinthians 15:24.

47:25 – see Philippians 2:10-11.

Homiletics .   By definition, “homiletic” is the art of preaching or writing sermons.   I think we would all agree that our pastors study the Bible thoroughly to deliver sermons every Sunday to their congregations.   The beautiful news is that every child of God can use this discipline to study the Bible for themselves.
