Waste Another stellar week!   I am all for composting and recycling and buying green and organic gardening.   I don’t consider myself to be a “tree-hugger” but I believe that we as Christians should practice good stewardship of the planet God entrusted to our care.   I also recognize that I cannot “save” the planet because Scripture says this heaven and earth will pass away. I get frustrated with trying to live waste-free because it requires so much research to do so.   It’s a lot of work to live this way, requiring time I don’t have because I work full-time, am a wife and mom and member of/leader in the church.   I’m not trying to make excuses.   I don’t eat fast food every night and load my garbage cans with Styrofoam packages.   I do recycle cans and paper and I compost a little bit (but not all of my organic waste).   I am a gardener, as well.   In fact, my husband and I planted berries this weekend (and a couple gardenias becau...
