Here is my review of this fantastic wild west novel: First of all, I would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank you” to Mary Connealy and Barbour Publishing for sending me an electronic copy of "Deep Trouble" to review for them. I am truly grateful for this opportunity and their generosity. When an author has a wonderful talent for storytelling and an incredible technique for building an entertaining novel, does there come a time when said author cannot surpass their previous work? In many cases, yes, and the reader must be satisfied with the status quo or move on to another author’s work. I have been a long-time fan of Mary Connealy’s work, and her latest novel, “Deep Trouble” does not demand that the reader accept what has become an expected standard for a Connealy novel.
