Today's Daily Devotional

Blessed are those who walk in the light of Your presence, O Lord. They rejoice in Your name; they exult in Your righteousness. Psalm 89:15-16

06/04/09 Do you exult in God’s righteousness? Do you know what exult means? I didn’t… It means revel, take pride, gloat, glory, triumph, wallow, rejoice… So, you really soak yourself in it. Then you fling it all over everything and everyone with whom you come in contact! So, the first step is saturating yourself in the Lord’s righteousness. How can you do that? Pray. Ask Him to saturate you with it. Read the Bible which is full of stories of His righteousness. Maybe you need to study His righteousness in the Bible. Meditate on how you can apply what you learn about His righteousness to your own life. Memorize a favorite verse of scripture that reminds you of His righteousness in general or a specific example of His righteousness.
