Moments 'til Midnight by Brent Crowe

Here is my review of this amazing book: First, I would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank you” to Brent Crowe and his publisher for sending me a copy of "Moments 'til Midnight" to review for them. I am truly grateful for this generosity. I really appreciate the time, effort and expense it takes to make a reviewer copy available to me. “Moments ‘til Midnight” by Brent Crowe is an insightful book that allows the reader to try on Paul’s sandals on his last day.   Filled with life lessons and takeaways, this incredible read takes you through each of the last hours of Paul’s life before his execution in Rome.   What thoughts may have run through Paul’s head?   Did he have regrets?   What did he leave undone?   What life lessons could he still pass on? This amazing book will have you rethinking how you’re living your life right now.   It made me think about how I want to be remembered.   Reading this book helped me look at my life and see what is really important so

Mind Games by Nancy Mehl

Here is my review of this incredible suspense read: First, I would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank you” to Nancy Mehl and her publisher for sending me a copy of "Mind Games" to review for them. I am truly grateful for this generosity. I really appreciate the time, effort and expense it takes to make a reviewer copy available to me. “ Mind Games” by Nancy Mehl is the first book in the Kaely Quinn Profiler series.   This is a well-written, suspenseful novel with fleshy characters, Kaely Quinn is a behavioral analyst with the FBI, whose methods are unconventional but bring results.   Special Agent Noah Hunter doesn’t want to partner up with Kaely, but really has no choice.   She is being stalked and needs protection.   Their case pushes them to the edge of their abilities while the killer consistently stays a couple of steps ahead. This amazing read will have you guessing and second-guessing whodunit.   The book is nearly impossible to put down!   You will be ho

Made for the Journey by Elisabeth Elliott

Made for the Journey: One Missionary's First Year in the Jungles of Ecuador by Elisabeth Elliot In this deeply personal account of her first year as a missionary, Elisabeth Elliot shares the challenges she faced as she worked in the jungles of Ecuador to bring the Word of God to a people virtually untouched by the outside world. With fascinating detail, she captures the stark realities of life in the jungle, the difficulties she encountered while developing a written language for the tribe, and her confusion when God didn't "cooperate" with her efforts to accomplish what she believed was His will. More than just a memoir,  Made for the Journey  is a beautifully crafted and deeply personal reflection on the important questions of life and a remarkable testimony to authentic Christian obedience to an unfathomable God. Here's my review of this amazing memoir: First, I would like to
