We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28
06/15/09 The Lord loves the world. He is especially enamored with His kids. His kids are those who love Him back. And this verse says that He works all things for the good of those who love Him. How does this work? This idea is really simple, but can be as complex to understand as the mobius continuum. God is the Trinity from the beginning of time. So, there was a purpose for the Trinity even then. We know Jesus’ purpose. He was born to die for our sins. As part of the Trinity, Jesus was present at the beginning. His purpose has never changed. God loves us so much that He died to pay the penalty for our sins. Those of us who accept that gift of salvation are those who love Him back. We are the ones for whom God orchestrates all things for good. WOW! What a wonderful God!
