Review: Double Take by Lynette Eason

Lynette Eason does it again!  Weaving together a truly frightening opening, a well-developed mystery, and a heart-melting romance, "Double Take" truly has it all!  This novel is a great way to spend a long winter night by the fire. Lainie is seeing her former fiance around town...her DECEASED former fiance. And he is trying to hurt her. But how could that be? James is back in town. Working in law enforcement, and hiding from his family. After being shot, he finds himself under Lainie's care in the hospital. Long time friends because of Lainie's friendship with his sister, James never knew Lainie's had a crush on him her whole life. When Lainie finds herself in danger, James comes to the rescue and their relationship will never be the same. I received a copy of this novel for my honest review.
