“Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:20
06/16/09 Jesus is with you when you pray. This is another great way to spend time with Him. I struggle with prayer sometimes because I don’t want to present a “to do” list of requests to Him. But there are other times when I pray that it is all about worship and acknowledging who He is that I come away from the interaction energized and full of encouragement, ready to take on whatever comes at me. If you struggle with prayer, allow me to suggest Kay Arthur’s Bible study “Lord, Teach Me To Pray”. It is a wonderful time in the Word with Jesus, and it will broaden your perspective on prayer. It took several concepts I had learned previously about prayer and gave me practical experience using them. This study helped me to achieve a more satisfying prayer life.
