He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 1:8
02/27/09 Sometimes it’s difficult to believe that God will strengthen us. Sometimes we feel like we’re at the end of our ropes. Don’t we? We’re under so much stress that just one more thing will make us snap. So we pray that God will bring us relief, but the pressure intensifies. We cry out to God – which is what He wants from us. We cry – which is what He wants if the tears come from a broken and contrite heart, but not if the tears come from selfishness. But we always seem to get through it, don’t we. Personally, I believe this is the refining process that all Christians must endure. No one is exempt. But I promise you, God is nearby. I challenge you to look for where God is working in the midst of your circumstances, today. And I challenge you to move yourself to a position right by His side!
