Back in July 2007, I won a contest that was hosted by author Hope Lyda. The contest was to promote her latest novel “Life, Libby and the Pursuit of Happiness”. Part of the grand prize package was a beautiful leather-bound journal that had scripture verses printed on each page. (Thank you again, Hope!) So, what began as the blessing of winning a contest has become an opportunity for me to grow in Christ through reflection on scripture and touch others. Tomorrow, I begin posting that series of daily devotions. I pray that you will join me on this journey.

I’ve also been doing the process of homiletics for over ten years and I can say that there is no better teacher than the Holy Spirit in this process! So keep practicing. Keep sharing and discussing. I’ve been posting my homiletics on this blog for quite a while, now. And I would like to share wit
