ABOUT THE BOOK - Coming Attractions
In this third book in the Katie Weldon Series, Katie is rolling into her final semester at Rancho Corona with one major question for her boyfriend: "Are you serious?" She's come to the conclusion that she really, truly loves Rick and it's time for him to make a declaration about his future intentions. The biggest obstacle to such a conversation is the craziness of their schedules. Katie's close friend, Nicole, is spending more time with Rick than Katie is, and the once mysterious Eli is now the person to whom Katie is opening her heart. What is happening to her should-be-predictable world?
Soon Katie finds she's the one who is asking herself, "Are you serious?" Katie ponders what that means in her life-from her relationship with Rick to what she plans to do after graduation. Could it be that God is asking her the same question about her relationship with Him?
In the book, Katie is facing life-after-college and thinking about her future. Do a little future-reflecting yourself: where would you like to be 5 or 10 years from now? Share in a short post of 500 words or less.

Here is my review of this entertaining novel:
First of all, I would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank you” to Robin Jones Gunn and her publisher for sending me a copy of "Coming Attractions" to review for them. I have always been grateful for this generosity, and I am trying to improve at being consistent in taking the time to thank these wonderfully giving individuals in a public forum. I really appreciate your time, effort and expense in making a reviewer copy available to me.
I've been wanting to read this book ever since I encountered an excerpt with the weekly email club to which I belong. I am barely into this witty and well-written/easily read novel, but I am already so invested. I must admit that I'm rooting for Eli to win the heart of the lady fair, Katie, as it seems very obvious that he has feelings for her (and she for him, but she may not recognize those feelings for what they are). Anyway...
"Coming Attractions" by Robin Jones Gunn is the third in the Katie Miller series, and a fine read. Katie is in her last few weeks of college before she graduates. Her boyfriend, Rick, may be "the one", but they've agreed to wait until after graduation before taking their relationship to the next level. Katie's (and Rick's)friend, Eli, always seems to be around when Katie needs something, and he is inspiring her to rekindle a fizzled relationship with God. I can't read these pages fast enough, and I am fighting every impulse to jump to the end of the book to see how it all turns out. But I'm growing ever-weaker...
