Praise the name of the Lord, for His name alone is exalted; His splendor is above the earth and the heavens. Psalm 148:13
06/12/09 I love how this verse of scripture prompts my heart to choose one of the many beautiful names that my God is known by, so I can praise Him for something particular. Today, I choose to acknowledge the entire Trinity and praise the name of Elohyim. This name is the plural of El, which means God. Like Bethel translates “the house of God”. Elohyim is first used in Genesis 1:1. God is The Trinity from the very beginning. Before the earth was created, before man’s first breath was blown into his lungs, there was the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. And they each had a purpose, a role. There was always a plan. And here comes some wonderful news: you were always part of that plan. So was I. Isn’t Elohyim wonderful?
