Here is my review of this epic romance:
First of all, I would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank you” to Susan May Warren and her publisher for sending me a copy of "Sons of Thunder" to review for them. I have always been grateful for this generosity, and I am trying to improve at being consistent in taking the time to thank these wonderfully giving individuals in a public forum. I really appreciate your time, effort and expense in making a reviewer copy available to me.
Susan May Warren never fails to entertain me. Her writing transcends genre. She inspires, enchants and thoroughly entertains. Her novel, “Sons of Thunder”, is no exception to those rules. Set during World War II, this epic love story begins in the exotic and intoxicating Greek Islands, travels to the USA and back to Greece for the dramatic conclusion. Sofia is caught in a love triangle – with two brothers. Dino has a vision for the future. Markos seeks to preserve his family and Greek heritage.
This is a beautiful story of life and love, honor and forgiveness. God and family are at the core of this epic romance that spans time and geography. The carefully and complexly woven plot will captivate the reader as battles are fought and choices are made. This story took me completely by surprise, but did not disappoint. I recommend this novel to SMW fans as well as those who enjoy epic romance.
