Be swept away in the third installment of Rachel Hauck's Royal Wedding series, How to Catch a Prince.
Behind him, beside him, before him, the synchronized cathedral bells began to ring out. One, two, three . . .
Then she said it first. The words his heart burst to share. "I love you, Stephen. You are my true prince."

An American heiress and a crown prince seem destined to be together. Will the devastation of war keep them apart forever?
American heiress Corina Del Rey caught her prince once. But the tragedy of war kept her too long in a fog of grief. Now she's shifting her life forward, reigniting her career as a journalist. Still, nothing can relieve her of the secret and the love she carries in her soul.
Prince Stephen of Brighton is one of the world's most eligible bachelors and a star rugby player, trying to make sense of his life. But his days in Afghanistan with the Royal Air Command have marked him forever. And he can't seem to shake their dark shadow.
But when his brother, King Nathaniel, confronts him with a document the prince thought long buried and forgotten, Stephen is forced to face the pain of his past and the love he left behind.

With a little heavenly help, Prince Stephen and Corina embark on a journey of truth. But when the secrets are revealed, can they overcome, move forward, and find love again?

Here's my review of this incredible romance:

First, I would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank you” to Rachel Hauck and her publisher for sending me a copy of "How to Catch a Prince" to review for them. I am truly grateful for this generosity. I really appreciate the time, effort and expense it takes to make a reviewer copy available to me.

In “How to Catch a Prince” by Rachel Hauck, Corina del Rey and Prince Stephen of Brighton reunite after a five-year separation.  The circumstances of the reunion are less than stellar since they both believed their whirlwind marriage was annulled five years ago!  Corina has attempted to move on with her life as a reporter.  Her family remains broken after the tragic death of her twin brother Carlos while serving in the military five years earlier.  Stephen is trying to get by as well.  He knows more about his best friend’s (Carlos’) death than he is admitting.  When Stephen finds out that he is still married, he travels to America to have Corina sign the annulment papers.  She agrees to do so only when Stephen tells her what he knows about her brother.

This beautiful, romantic tale will make you laugh and cry.  Hauck’s writing is so vivid it brings the imagination abundantly to life.  Her characters have character and her settings are magical.  Although part of a series, “How to Catch a Prince” reads well as a standalone novel.

Homiletics Training: Content

Homiletics .   By definition, “homiletic” is the art of preaching or writing sermons.   I think we would all agree that our pastors study the Bible thoroughly to deliver sermons every Sunday to their congregations.   The beautiful news is that every child of God can use this discipline to study the Bible for themselves. As a member of Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) Leadership, part of my required preparation each week is to prepare homiletics for the passage we are studying.   BSF offers an engaging seminar on how to use this method to study the Scriptures.   I’ve taken the seminar several times under two different leaders and I’ve learned something new every time I’ve attended.   I’ve also been doing the process of homiletics for over ten years and I can say that there is no better teacher than the Holy Spirit in this process!   So keep practicing.   Keep sharing and discussing.   I’ve been posting my homiletics on this blog for quite a...

Armor of God – Week One – Sizing Up The Enemy

Welcome to Boot Camp!   For the next seven weeks we will be training with our weapons (God’s Word and prayer) in preparation for the battle of our lives and the lives of others!   And we will be learning how to equip ourselves with the Armor of God. Priscilla Shirer’s Armor of God Bible study is a MUST-DO for EVERY BIBLE STUDENT!   I don’t mean to shout, but I can’t emphasize this enough!!!   We are at war boys and girls.   And our enemy wants to keep us in the dark about that fact.   If he can convince us that he does not exist or that our God is not good or that we are not loved and treasured by the King and Creator of the Universe, he wins the battle.   But can I share something with you?   OUR ENEMY HAS ALREADY LOST THE WAR!!!!!   His time is short and he is grasping at anything we leave dangling in an attempt to drag us down.   So let’s not leave too much dangling. My church begins the Armor of God study tonight (9/9/15). ...
