The Book of Revelation by Chuck Missler – Hour 24 – Revelation 21-22

WOW!  Where did the 24 weeks go?  What began with John’s vision of Christ and profiled seven churches that can teach us much about ourselves has culminated in a glimpse of eternity.  And what a glimpse it is.  A new heaven…a new earth…the new Jerusalem.  Those of us who share a relationship with Christ as born again believers will dwell in the presence of the Lord forever!  Hallelujah!

Although I’ve seen Dr. Missler’s teaching on hyperspaces before, it impacts me every time.  Just the idea of God existing in so many more dimensions that I can conceive blows my mind!

In this final week, we tie the precious stones – out of which the foundation of New Jerusalem is built upon – to both the Mazzaroth (the Hebrew story of the Messiah told through the signs of the zodiac) and the twelve tribes of Israel.  This is fascinating.  Our heavenly home is fascinating.  The Gospel is what draws us there.  Christ redeemed us so that we might dwell there with Him for eternity.  Will you be there?  Have you accepted Him as your Savior?  You don’t want to close this blog post until you know for sure where you’re going.

If you’re not positive that you’re going to heaven, but you want to, say the prayer at the top left part of this blog.  Then get in touch with me, a trusted Christian friend or family member or the pastor of a Bible preaching church.  Start reading your Bible.  Start with the Gospel of John – the fourth book of the New Testament.  Get to know Jesus.  I hope to meet you in the clouds.

No more homework…except the daily time you spend with Jesus in preparation for eternity.

Please join me next week as we begin Margaret Feinberg’s study “Wonderstruck”.

Homiletics Training: Content

Homiletics .   By definition, “homiletic” is the art of preaching or writing sermons.   I think we would all agree that our pastors study the Bible thoroughly to deliver sermons every Sunday to their congregations.   The beautiful news is that every child of God can use this discipline to study the Bible for themselves. As a member of Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) Leadership, part of my required preparation each week is to prepare homiletics for the passage we are studying.   BSF offers an engaging seminar on how to use this method to study the Scriptures.   I’ve taken the seminar several times under two different leaders and I’ve learned something new every time I’ve attended.   I’ve also been doing the process of homiletics for over ten years and I can say that there is no better teacher than the Holy Spirit in this process!   So keep practicing.   Keep sharing and discussing.   I’ve been posting my homiletics on this blog for quite a while, now.   And I would like to share wit
