First of all, I would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank you” to Douglas S. Huffman and Kregel Academic for sending me a copy of "Christian Contours" to review for them. I am truly grateful for this generosity. I really appreciate the time, effort and expense it takes to make a reviewer copy available to me.
“Christian Contours: How a Biblical Worldview Shapes the Mind and Heart” edited by Douglas S. Huffman is a fascinating look at the concept of worldview in general and particularly educational in the realm of Biblical Worldview. After experiencing the 13 teaching sessions of Focus on the Family’s “The Truth Project,” “Christian Contours” was the next natural step in getting more information on what I’ve been learning.
This volume helps with the student’s understanding of what a worldview is and how it is formed. It can be a dry read at times, especially when you are looking for a specific bit of information. But “Christian Contours” has a decent table of contents and topical index to help you find information on the subjects you want to learn about. This book is a welcome addition to my reference library.
