Rabble crave meat, remember fish, cukes,melons, leeks, garlic; now we see manna, like coriander, ppl gather/cook, when dew settled manna came.

M heard wailing, L bec angry, MtoL: why you burden ppl on me? Where I get meat? Burden too heavy, kill me.

LtoM: bring 70 elders ToM, I take some pwr of Spirit on you & put on them, they share burden.

Tell ppl: consecrate selves, tomorrow you eat meat, not for 1, 2, 5, 10 or 20 days, but whole mo until it comes out nostrils & you loathe bec you rejected L.

M: 600,000 men on foot you give food for mo? L: is L’s arm too short? M told ppl, brought 70 elders, L took pwr, put on elders, when Spirit rested, the prophesied.

Eldad & Medad, elders, did not go ToM, Spirit rested, they prophesied in camp; Joshua to M: stop them; M: jealous for my sake? I wish all L’s ppl prophets; M & elders ret’d to camp.

Miriam & A began talk vs. M bec of Cushite wife: has L spoken only thru M?  Also thru us? L heard.

M more humble than anyone; LtoM&A& Miriam: come out ToM, they went; L came in pillar of cloud @ entrance, summoned A& Miriam: Listen, when prophet among you, I reveal myself, speak to them, not true of my servant M, w/him I speak face-to-face, clearly; why you not afraid speak vs. my servant M?

Anger of L burned vs. them; when cloud lifted, Miriam leprous, A saw, to M: pls not hold vs. us sin, don’t let her be like stillborn – flesh ½ eaten.

MtoL: pls heal; LtoM: confine her outside camp 7 days, after she can be brought back; Miriam confined 7 days, ppl not move on; after, left Hazeroth & encamped Des of Paran.
