God Knows Your Name
About the Book
For many people the idea that God likes us as individuals, just as we are, is often an unfamiliar concept, while rejection--by a partner, one's parents, an employer, or friends--is a fact of life.
This book encourages readers to embrace the truth of a personal God with whom we do not need to struggle to gain recognition, a God who intervenes and acts on our behalf, a God who knows our names!
Each of the six chapters contains two stories dealing with situations of rejection. The first story concerns an individual from the Bible, explaining how God stepped in to change his or her situation, thus revealing how important the individual was to him.
The second, connecting story tells of a present day individual in similar circumstances and how God again positively intervened. These are true stories, using carefully researched material for authenticity and accuracy, and told with remarkable power and conviction.

Here is my review of this amazing book:
First of all, I would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank you” to Catherine Campbell and her publisher for sending me a copy of "God Know Your Name" to review for them. I am truly grateful for this generosity. I really appreciate the time, effort and expense it takes to make a reviewer copy available to me.
Catherine Campbell’s “God Knows Your Name” is absolutely delightful. What I expected was a Christian “self-help” book that would encourage me with Scripture and touching commentary. What I received was a touching and engaging series of stories that embodied my insecurities and fears and expelled those things with the love and intimacy of my Lord and Savior, Jesus!
Six engaging tales resemble familiar Biblical passages but also have firm footing in modern-day happenings. I absolutely loved the end of each chapter where the author cites the Bible story and then explains her own specific circumstances of encountering the point of each tale. I was drawn into every story and given a new appreciation for how well I really have it. God does know my name. Hallelujah!
