First of all, I would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank you” to Jillian Hart and her publisher for sending me a copy of "Montana Dreams" to review for them. I am truly grateful for this generosity. I really appreciate the time, effort and expense it takes to make a reviewer copy available to me.
“Montana Dreams” by Jillian Hart is the charming story of Millie, who comes back to her childhood home after ten years to care for her father as he dies. Life has not been easy for Millie. Thrown out of her home by her father at 19, she managed to survive and make a life for herself and her son, Simon. Now, she is returning to lots of hardship and difficulty to care for the farm and her father and to avoid Simon’s father, Hunter, and the flutters he still makes her feel.
Hunter, a confirmed bachelor, can’t help the heart palpitations that begin when he sees that Millie has returned to town. As his feelings begin to grow to the point where he can no longer deny them, he is hurt – seemingly irreparably – and retreats into his heart-guarding shell once more. Will his taste of what family life is supposed to be change his heart and mind toward giving love a chance?
Book number four in the McKaskin Clan series is a heart-warming read that takes less than a day to complete. I was unable to put this book down, and I’ll be on the lookout for the other books in the series.
