First of all, I would like to extend
a heartfelt “Thank you” to Julie Lessman and her publisher for sending me a copy
of "Dare to Love Again" to review for them. I am truly grateful for this
generosity. I really appreciate the time, effort and expense it takes to make a
reviewer copy available to me.
Julie Lessman wows once more with her latest
novel: “Dare to Love Again”. Allison McClare, volunteer English and Drama
teacher at the Hand of Hope School for Girls has just met the match for her hot
Irish temper. Detective Nick Barone’s
Italian blood boils from their first meeting, and not in a good way. As they are thrust together daily so Allison
can learn to defend herself under Nick’s tutelage, the sparks continue to fly
and ignite a fire of a more romantic nature.
After Nick and Alli decide that taking another chance on
love may be worth it, Nick’s past finds him, causing him to abandon his adopted
family and the thrice-jilted Alli to keep them safe from the thugs who are
hunting him.
Julie Lessman has crafted another fiesty novel that will
sweep the reader completely off her feet!
She creates some hysterical narrative and dialog to tell Nick and Alli’s
story. And there’s plenty of drama and
suspense, too. It’s difficult to choose
a favorite Julie Lessman book, but if I had to pick, this would be it!
