First, I would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank you” to Susan May Warren and her publisher for sending me a copy of "The Heart of a Hero" to
review for them. I am truly grateful for this generosity. I really appreciate
the time, effort and expense it takes to make a reviewer copy available to me.
Susan May Warren’s latest novel, “The Heart of a Hero” is an
action-packed read perfect for a long summer weekend! Aria Sinclair is caught smack-dab in the
middle of a category 4 hurricane in Florida.
Jake Silver can’t get Aria out of his head and, hearing of her
predicament, rushes down there in an attempt to rescue her…again.
This novel starts off at a run and doesn’t let up until the
last page is turned! I have not read “The
Way of the Brave,” yet, which is the first offering in this Global Search and
Rescue Series. But even though Jake and
Aria’s relationship began in that novel, this book reads really well on its
own. In fact, it makes me want to read
the first book and I’ll definitely be picking up the last one.
“The Heart of a Hero” isn’t just an action-packed
romance. It’s a book with deep moral
lessons that will leave you wanting to be a better human being.
