The Prehistorical Period
Hour 3 is an enlightening study. The genealogy of Genesis 5 and the
fascinating look at Noah’s ark whet my appetite for a deeper look at God’s
Word! We were also presented with the
following riddle: Methuselah is the
oldest man in the Bible at 969 years, yet he died before his father. How can this be? I’m not going to tell you. Get into the Word to find out. If you try to figure it out, but can’t, check
out this Bible study or leave me a comment with your email address and I’ll
share.
We studied several of Satan’s stratagems (schemes), as
well. These were fascinating and got me
thinking about the schemes he might be orchestrating now that the Messiah has
done what He came to do. I’d love to
hear your own thoughts on this if you’d like to share a comment.
I have discovered that it is more beneficial to sit down and
answer the questions at the end of each chapter in the workbook before I get to
class. It gives me an overview of the
lesson and prepares me for the lecture and discussion. Also, using the audio Bible is truly a
blessing since I don’t necessarily have the time to sit down and read the
homework for next week: Genesis 12-50.
