Getting Comfy: Ice Breakers #13 - Famous People Game

This Ice Breaker appears this month in honor of the Academy Awards on Sunday, February 22nd.

Before the meeting, write the names of famous people on sticky labels. Stick the name of one famous person on each lady's back as they arrive. Then explain that the ladies are supposed to ask each other yes or no questions about the name on their back until they guess who they are.

You might want to choose names from the Bible lesson for that day as a lead in to the message. You might even want each person to stand as you introduce their character during the lesson.

Homiletics .   By definition, “homiletic” is the art of preaching or writing sermons.   I think we would all agree that our pastors study the Bible thoroughly to deliver sermons every Sunday to their congregations.   The beautiful news is that every child of God can use this discipline to study the Bible for themselves.
