First, I would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank you” to Sarah
Monzon and her publisher for sending me a copy of "All’s Fair in Love and
Christmas" to review for them. I am truly grateful for this generosity. I
really appreciate the time, effort and expense it takes to make a reviewer copy
available to me.
“All’s Fair in Love and Christmas” is such a beautiful
book! It’s loaded with ideas for how to
celebrate Christmas as presented by the main characters, Mackenzie and
Jeremy. These two are colleagues who are
competing with each other for a promotion to be given to the associate with the
most Christmas spirit! Each needs the
pay raise that will come with the promotion, but there is a complication:
Mackenzie has had a crush on Jeremy since he joined the staff two years ago,
and she is shy and socially awkward.
Jeremy is competitive and wants the promotion, but as the Christmas
spirit emerges in the office, he begins to see Mackenzie as he never has
before.
This is a sweet Christmas read that I plan to pick up and
re-read every year during the holiday season.
There’s a thread of faith running through the work, but it’s not
preachy. The language is clean and so is
the romance. This is one of my favorite
books that I’ve read all year!
