Homiletics Romans 5:1-11

1.T4 since we’ve been justified thru faith,we have peace w/G thru our LJC (1)

2.thru Whom we’ve gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand (2a)

3.And we boast in the hope of the glory of G (2b)

4.Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings bec we know suffering produces perseverance (3)

5. perseverance, character; and character, hope (4)

6.And hope doesn’t put us to shame bec Gs love has been poured out (5a)

7.into our hearts thru the HS Who has been given to us (5b)

11.But G demonstrates His own love for us in this, While we were still sinners, C died 4 us (8)

 

12. Since we have now been justified by His blood (9a)

13.How much more shall we be saved from G’s wrath thru Him! (9b)

14.4 if while we were G’s enemies we were reconciled 2 Him thru death of His Son (10a)

15.How much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved thru His life (10b)

16.Not only is this so, but we also boast in G thru our LJC (11a)

17.thru Whom we have now rec’d reconciliation (11b)

Principle: True peace only comes through Jesus Christ.

Principle: God’s love was demonstrated by the death of Jesus Christ.

Principle: Relationship with the Father is only restored through Jesus Christ.

Homiletics .   By definition, “homiletic” is the art of preaching or writing sermons.   I think we would all agree that our pastors study the Bible thoroughly to deliver sermons every Sunday to their congregations.   The beautiful news is that every child of God can use this discipline to study the Bible for themselves.
