Deadly Pursuit by Irene Hannon

A stalker with deadly intent . . .
A woman who protects children . . .
An ex-Navy SEAL turned police detective.

Social worker Alison Taylor has a passion for protecting children. But now it seems she needs protecting. When her tormentor's attentions take a violent turn, she calls in reinforcements--her police-detective brother, Cole, and his new partner, ex-Navy SEAL Mitch Morgan. As her relentless stalker turns up the heat and the danger intensifies, Mitch takes a personal interest in the case. Because protecting Alison has become more than a job; his future depends on keeping her safe.

Filled with nail-biting suspense and heart-melting romance, Deadly Pursuit is Irene Hannon's storytelling at its very best.

Here is my review of this amazing novel:

First of all, I would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank you” to Irene Hannon and Baker Publishing for sending me a copy of "Deadly Pursuit" to review for them. I am truly grateful for this generosity. I really appreciate the time, effort and expense it takes to make a reviewer copy available to me.

Irene Hannon’s incredible novel, “Deadly Pursuit”, is book 2 in the Guardians of Justice series. Alison Taylor and Mitch Morgan are not looking for romance. After being jilted by her fiancé following a near fatal automobile accident, Alison is less trusting of love. Mitch has had his share of meaningless relationships. So when his partner, Cole, suggests that Mitch take his sister Alison to the family wedding he must attend, Mitch agrees to the “pity date” with the recluse. Alison accepts Cole’s date setup to save Mitch from being hit on by single women and fixed up by family. They never expected to fall in love. They also never expected to be using every detective skill they possess to identify a stalker who is harassing Alison with obscene telephone calls and morbid gifts.

This incredible novel is the perfect weekend read! Full of romance, crime drama and suspense, “Deadly Pursuit” is an absolute triumph. And being the second book in the Guardians of Justice series, the reader is reunited with characters that we’ve come to love in “Fatal Judgment”.

Homiletics Training: Content

Homiletics .   By definition, “homiletic” is the art of preaching or writing sermons.   I think we would all agree that our pastors study the Bible thoroughly to deliver sermons every Sunday to their congregations.   The beautiful news is that every child of God can use this discipline to study the Bible for themselves. As a member of Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) Leadership, part of my required preparation each week is to prepare homiletics for the passage we are studying.   BSF offers an engaging seminar on how to use this method to study the Scriptures.   I’ve taken the seminar several times under two different leaders and I’ve learned something new every time I’ve attended.   I’ve also been doing the process of homiletics for over ten years and I can say that there is no better teacher than the Holy Spirit in this process!   So keep practicing.   Keep sharing and discussing.   I’ve been posting my homiletics on this blog for quite a while, now.   And I would like to share wit
