A Killer Among Us by Lynette Eason

What happens when the hunter . . . becomes the hunted?

Kit Kenyon is a first-rate hostage negotiator. Noah Lambert is a good detective with excellent instincts. These new partners have hardly had time to get used to each other when they are thrown into a grisly murder case. As evidence mounts up and more victims are found, Kit and Noah realize they are on the hunt for a serial killer. The problem is, he may be hunting one of them too.

With nail-biting suspense, clever plot twists, and a hint of romance, A Killer Among Us is the latest thriller from Lynette Eason.

Here is my review of this terrific fiction novel:

First of all, I would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank you” to Lynette Eason and her publisher for sending me a copy of "A Killer Among Us" to review for them. I am truly grateful for this generosity. I really appreciate the time, effort and expense it takes to make a reviewer copy available to me.

Lynette Eason’s “A Killer Among Us” is an intense work of fiction that will capture your attention and imagination from the very first page. Kit Kenyon is still trying to come to grips with who she is. Recently, she learned that her parents weren’t really her parents, and that she has a twin! Noah Lambert is a God-fearing man who finds himself partnered with Kit. The high-energy crime solving takes Kit Kenyon and Noah Lambert to the edge of their skills and beyond. As Kit gets to know her sisters and Noah, she becomes entwined in a murder investigation that has her and Noah believing that a serial killer is after one of them.

Samantha and Jamie Cash make appearances, drawing an already loyal following for these novels to watch these sibling relationships develop. This third novel in the Women of Justice series will keep the reader up way past bedtime. Lynette Eason meticulously lays out a plot that has the reader convinced she’s figured out the whodunit just as another piece of evidence (or is it a red herring) is presented. The sprinkling of romance adds another level of suspense to the story. This is an incredibly enjoyable book.

Homiletics Training: Content

Homiletics .   By definition, “homiletic” is the art of preaching or writing sermons.   I think we would all agree that our pastors study the Bible thoroughly to deliver sermons every Sunday to their congregations.   The beautiful news is that every child of God can use this discipline to study the Bible for themselves. As a member of Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) Leadership, part of my required preparation each week is to prepare homiletics for the passage we are studying.   BSF offers an engaging seminar on how to use this method to study the Scriptures.   I’ve taken the seminar several times under two different leaders and I’ve learned something new every time I’ve attended.   I’ve also been doing the process of homiletics for over ten years and I can say that there is no better teacher than the Holy Spirit in this process!   So keep practicing.   Keep sharing and discussing.   I’ve been posting my homiletics on this blog for quite a while, now.   And I would like to share wit
