Please forgive this rough draft format, as these are my raw study notes. I felt a great sense of urgency to publish them rather than waiting until I had the time to pretty them up. Thank you and I pray that God blesses you through this material.

Take a few minutes to savor Revelation Chapter 19. Then return here and ponder the thoughts, answer the questions, and be sure to leave comments about your own revelations.
19:1-3 – praises declared to God over Babylon’s punishment.
19:1 — imagine "Hallelujah" being roared... WOW! I get chills.
19:2 – see Jeremiah 51:24-26.
See Deuteronomy 32:43 (AMP)
19:3 — See Isaiah 34:10 (AMP)
19:5- whose voice is coming from the throne saying "Praise our God."? See Psalms 115:13 (AMP)
19:7-8 – see 11-16 – these two groups are dressed the same: the same group? The bride = the armies of heaven.
Notice that Christ’s robe is dipped in blood and ours is sparkling clean! WOW!
19:7 — See Psalms 118:24 (AMP)
19:9 — technically, is the bride "invited" to the wedding supper of the Lamb? Is this verse speaking of the bride? Or another group? See Matthew 22:1-14, 25:1-10.
19:10 - John attempts to worship an angel. And he does it again in 22:8. He certainly knew better than to do so. This angel must have been awesome!!!
19:11 – see Daniel 9:27; 1 Samuel 34:5-8; Isaiah 11:1-5; 63:1-6; Psalm 2:1-9. See Ezekiel 1:1 (AMP)
19:12 — name - In the ancient world, knowing a man's name gave you power over him. Not too different from today. Take a look at celebrities and their lifestyle and how they lose control over their privacy because so many know their name.
Fire — pyr — fire, flames (Strong's 4442/KWSB 4786). Describes Jesus' eyes. See Revelation 1:14.
What do you think the fire represents? Does this appear to represent judgment due to sin? Can you see the fire destroy what has been corrupted by sin?
See Daniel 10:6 (AMP)
19:13-14 — Again, notice that Christ's robe is dipped in blood and ours is sparkling clean! WOW!
19:15 – “Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations.” – Jesus can strike down the nations with His mouth. He speaks and it is done!
sword — rhomphaia — a large sword; javelin. (See 1:16)
the sword is also a common symbol for the Word of God. And the Word certainly came forth from Christ’s mouth!
See Psalms 2:9 (AMP)
19:16 — See Deuteronomy 10:17; Daniel 2:47 (AMP)
19:17 — See Ezekiel 39:4, 17-20 (AMP)
19:18 — eat the flesh of... - the angel was speaking to the birds. They feast in verse 21.
19:19-21 — "The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. The rest of them were killed with the sword that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse" — the millennium begins without non-believers. The beast and false prophet (the two of them) have been thrown into the lake of burning sulfur. This will be intensely hot and have the constant smell of burning matches, making the nose itch and twitch.
This is the Battle of Armageddon.
19:20 — beast and false prophet thrown alive into the fiery lake (see Daniel 7:11; Revelation 20:10, 14, 15; 21:8) of burning sulfur (see Revelation 9:17). Fire — pyr — fire, flames (Strong's 4442/KWSB 4786).
What do you think the fire represents? Does this appear to represent judgment due to sin? Can you see the fire destroy what has been corrupted by sin?
19:21 — sword — rhomphaia — a large sword; javelin. (See 1:16)

- Remember that the main message of the book of Revelation is the infinite love, power and justice of the Lord Jesus Christ. How is this evident in today’s text?
- What attributes of God do you see in this chapter?
- What scripture seemed to be God speaking directly to you? What is He teaching you in these verses? How does He want you to respond?
