Book 3 in the A Four of Hearts Ranch Romance series

This February curl up with Debra Clopton's newest Four of Hearts Ranch Romance series, Kissed by a Cowboy.

Having lived through her parents' divorces, Cassidy Starr knows when the stakes are not in her favor. Divorced herself and humiliated, her faith on rocky ground Cassidy is done with love. Finished. So over it.

Instead, she's returned to Wishing Springs Texas and the rundown farm she's inherited from her great aunt Roxie. She'll reopen the organic strawberry farm and a Bed & Breakfast --- follow in her aunt's footsteps and remain forever-independent, happy . . . and single.
Rancher Jarrod Monahan's hands are full running the ranch, helping to look after his ailing grandfather and track rustlers on the loose. He's pushed all longings for a family of his own right off of his list of priorities. Besides he was in love once and ran scared and lost his shot. But suddenly the regret of his life has moved in next door with a wounded heart determined to become a spinster . . . and that's not happening on his watch.
Suddenly sparks are flying as Jarod has one thing taking priority and that's breaking down the walls around Cassidy's stubborn heart. He's going to prove that being kissed by this cowboy comes with a lifetime commitment and the matrimonial bliss she's given up on.
And the good folks of Wishing Springs have decided that falling in love has never been so fun to watch.

Fall in love with the newest Four of Hearts Ranch couple in @DebraClopton's Kissed by a Cowboy. Review with @Litfuse http://bit.ly/1jRxIFr

 Meet the Author
Debra Clopton is a multi-award winning novelist and has written more than 22 novels. Along with writing, Debra helps her husband teach the youth at their local Cowboy Church. Debra's goal is to shine a light toward God while she entertains readers with her words.

Here's my review of this wonderful book:

First, I would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank you” to Debra Clopton and her publisher for sending me a copy of "Kissed By A Cowboy" to review for them. I am truly grateful for this generosity. I really appreciate the time, effort and expense it takes to make a reviewer copy available to me.

“Kissed By A Cowboy” by Debra Clopton is the amazing third offering in her Four of Hearts Ranch series.  Opening the cover of this engaging page-turner is like visiting old friends for those who have read the first two books in the series.  But this novel also reads well on its own, so I recommend it even if you haven’t experienced the previous stories.

Jarrod Monahan took it hard when he discovered his father’s betrayal of his family.  He and his brothers worked very hard to rescue the Four of Hearts Ranch.  Now that the ranch is finally about to become profitable, cattle rustlers put them in jeopardy again.  So when he sees some activity at his abandoned neighbor’s property, he is surprised to see the girl he kissed then ran away from so many years ago.

Cassidy Starr has returned to Wishing Springs, Texas and the property her Aunt Roxie left her now that she’s come to her senses, filed for divorce and sworn off romance for good.  With plans to make a life for herself by running her property as a bed and breakfast and a strawberry farm, she finds herself fighting those old feelings when she sees Jarrod and he continues to offer to help her.

Debra Clopton has written another beautiful story in a series that I’ve got on my keeper shelf.  These books will bring giggles and tears and a sigh or two and are easily enjoyed over and over again.

Homiletics Training: Content

Homiletics .   By definition, “homiletic” is the art of preaching or writing sermons.   I think we would all agree that our pastors study the Bible thoroughly to deliver sermons every Sunday to their congregations.   The beautiful news is that every child of God can use this discipline to study the Bible for themselves. As a member of Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) Leadership, part of my required preparation each week is to prepare homiletics for the passage we are studying.   BSF offers an engaging seminar on how to use this method to study the Scriptures.   I’ve taken the seminar several times under two different leaders and I’ve learned something new every time I’ve attended.   I’ve also been doing the process of homiletics for over ten years and I can say that there is no better teacher than the Holy Spirit in this process!   So keep practicing.   Keep sharing and discussing.   I’ve been posting my homiletics on this blog for quite a while, now.   And I would like to share wit
